The Farms Golf club hosted
a Men’s Member-Member golf tournament for two days on Friday and Saturday
(November 14th and 15th). Many golf clubs in San Diego
are available, but the Farm’s Golf Club still ranks among the few clubs that
give more to members than just golf courses. The tournament is one of the many
events that we’ve organized this holiday for our club members.
The event was a great
success, pulling in a great number of participants both days. The Friday
shotgun was at 11:30 a.m., with the format being 9 holes 2-Man Scramble - 9
holes Modified Scotch. The Saturday shotgun was at 8:30 a.m. and the format was
9 holes Better Ball - 9 holes Aggregate.
The Friday tournament
was accompanied with box lunch and beverages, but with no host cocktails. The Saturday
on the other hand was accompanied with continental breakfast, buffet lunch, but
also lacked host cocktails at the end of the play.
To ensure that the
facilities and resources were enough for the tournament, the golf courses were
closed for other golfers who weren’t participating in the competition. As such
the event went on successfully with all competitions undertaken without much
ado.
At the same time, the
attendees were able to socialize. Professionals and amateurs were all in
attendance, mentoring one another and sharing their success stories and
challenges.
What even made the
event more exciting were our San
Diego private golf courses that present both easy and challenging
experiences. In addition to that, our staff members were available to offer
assistance to participants whenever necessary.
We’ve hosted several
other events at our country club in San Diego during the holiday just to give
our members the best experience possible.
